The Accommodation

The accommodation comprises of an open plan, living dining and kitchen area, with two double bedrooms, one with twin beds, there is also a sofa bed in the lounge so the apartment can comfortably sleep 6. If you can’t leave the technology behind, there is free WiFi available and the TV has some English channels including, News channels, Pick TV, Community Channel and a movie channel. There is also a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped including microwave; large fridge with freezer; an oven with halogen hob; kettle; toaster and all cutlery, plates etc. There is also a washing machine. There are 2 balconies, the front having a table and chairs and the back having 2 sun loungers and further chairs. In the bathroom you will find a full bath with shower. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes and drawer space, but please note the owners do use the apartment for their own purposes so some space is taken by their possessions. There is also a TV in the double bedroom. The apartment is on the first floor with no lift, there are steps round the resort with some parts having slopes. The resort has a large pool with a children’s swimming area, but please be aware there is NOT a lifeguard on duty. There are sun-beds and parasols for guests to use. Just across the road from the apartments is a small supermarket; a gift shop; diving and boat shop. Along with 3 restaurants serving local food, plus pizza’s, tapas and english food. (opening times may be seasonal). This is also where the bus stop is situated. A short 5 minute walk takes you down to the marina of Port D’Addaia where there is a further restaurant and you can hire bikes, kayaks or go on boat trips. A five minute drive takes you to the popular area of Arenal d'en Castell where there is a very large sandy blue flag beach, more shops; restaurants and children’s play areas, including a water slide park. Around Port D’Addaia there are several walks you can go on and these are shown on maps by the bus stops and the maps show the time the walks should take; length and difficulty. One of the National Parks is right next to the resort and well worth an explore. Most major UK airports fly into Mahon during May to November but during winter direct flights are mainly from Gatwick. The transfer time from the airport to the resort is approximately 20 mins and taxis are readily available, and the approx transfer cost is £25, also buses do run to the resort during the day on an hourly basis.
